Given the relative growth of this blog, and the other investment that has been made around it, it has now moved to its own domain name at http://www.ghabuntu.com/. This was necessitated also in part by how people had to always fall on Google to locate this blog.
Ghabuntu.com will also be the official blog of the newly formed Ghabuntu Consult located in Accra Ghana, a consulting firm that aims at helping small and medium scale enterprises harness the power of the internet to expand their market, adopt Open Source to help cut down on IT cost, provide IT education for needy kids in society at an affordable cost among other services. Ghabuntu Consult will also act as the local representative of some leading IT niche firms that we are still in contact with.
The old address for this blog-http://sinaisix.blogspot.com/– will automatically be redirected to this new address and thus no one will lose touch with Ghabuntu. I am very happy to see the strides this blog has made in the past 3 months since it was created and the impact it has had on my life. I have also learned a lot from readers on this blog through their very intelligent and humorus comments.
Ghabuntu has also grown to have a reputable ranking with Google search and to share this achievement with other bloggers in the Open Source world, I will keep a pulse on the blogosphere and be on the look out for articles, howtos and other useful pieces that will be re-published here, with full credits and linkbacks to their owners to further the goal of this blog in making Open Source the prefered choice of computer users aroung the world.
