Dimdim- The open source web conference and collaboration app.

One of the greatest wonders of technology is how it’s made the world a small place. If you want a surefire way to cut traveling costs in your business, then you definitely need to take a look at Dimdim.
Dimdim is a web based platform for real time, rich media collaboration and conferencing. With Dimdim, you can show presentations, collaborate via whiteboards, chat, talk and broadcast via webcam with absolutely no download required to host, attend or even record meetings.
Dimdim is made available as an enterprise edition with a GPL open source release also available to developers who are interested in running it on their own servers.
The Dimdim free version lets you have a conference or meeting with up to 20 people. You can always upgrade to the Pro at any time. Dimdim boasts of being open, affordable and easy to use.
I think the service is right with these after I took the test run with it. It is easy to start using, cleaner interface, does not hose your system resources, has faster responsiveness and is free (for testing I used the free version).
For anyone that wants to cut down on travel costs (businesses and students especially), I highly recommend Dimdim to you. It is a really great web conferencing and collaboration tool that you really ought to give a try.
